Allright, now I used OAmme - The shit is I cant get 1920-1080 Resolution in OAmme - Cant find a supported grpahic Resolution in the Setup of MME.... Well caputured in 1024x768 then - It seems that OAmme doesnt use the 8.8 patch?
Well. Like you can see MME does some graphical bugs - like the texture around the skulls
This video was actually to compare JPG Capturing and AVI Capturing - somebody can see a diffrence? Me not. So its easier to use AVI capturing to not use Virtualdub with all these JPGs... so plus one for Avi Capturing - then rendered it in F4v to upload it to Youtube faster....
The link to the addons the guy in the youtube video talks about ADDONS doesnt work anymore... Help?
HF and watch in 720p or 1080p if possible and if your computer can handle it

another problem: Cant get out of the 1st person view... pressing x or y should do that but the it stucks... or crashes.. Some Help?

OAMME is a "hac ked" version of Q3MME for quake3, so normally it is not made to work with OA.
1.) Textures: I have same problem as you. MAYBE oamme can't read "models" of OA because the missing texture is on a lamp-model.... Idk... I found out that you need those files to have same textures as in AS: z-gpl-q3a2oa-textures.pk3 , zzzz-aftershock-textures-v1.pk3 , zzzz-aftershock-z_textures-v101-102.pk3 I have copied them in all imaginable places, but nothing... same texture problem. =( EDIT:
2.) Screensize: type in... a) r_mode -1 b) r_customwidth 1920 c) r_customheight 1080 d) vid_restart
(without typing "/" !!!)
Does it work also when you capture?
3.) Perspective of view: Ye sometimes it can crash or doesn't work properly, so you have to reopen OAMME. Do like this: a) open normally a demo and press "C" for pause b) press "X" so many times till you get to "Camera" (see left of your screen) c) Hold "LEFTMOUSEBUTTON" + "W A S D" to move around like a spectator. You can also capture in this view.

Danke Dir, hast mir schon sehr geholfen - Der war nur im Kamera-Modus total ausserhalb Map gelandet - Mit der Auflösung mit r_custom klappt - perfekt! Sind Bloom und Flare nur Dinge die in der neuen 8.8 Version dazu kamen? Ich habe nie mit einer alten Version gespielt. Schade, dass OAmme nicht weiter bearbeitet wurde - Könnte ich Programmieren würde ich das in die Hand nehmen

P.S.: was sagst du zum Vergleichsvideo JPG - AVI?

Ich glaube, Bloom gabs schon vorher , nur ist er jetzt etwas anders, sagen wir mal "natürlicher" xD Offiziell wurde das allesgeändert in OA 0.88:

==GAME==
- Fixed TEAMMATE kill message bug. - Prevent team changing and disconnect from changing team score in Team Deathmatch. - Don't let vampire resurrect dead players. - Now uses FFA spawnpoints in domination. - Workaround for Kamikaze bug. - g_autonextmap added ("Auto change level" in the menu). Randomly picks a new map once the current map has ended. The maps allowed for each gametype are configurable. - You can now see how much health the obelisk have left in Overload - Autoswitch weapon can now be set to only change to better or new weapons. - Chat beep can be disabled in options. - Changed default customvotefile to customvote.cfg.
- Added the possibility for spawning in waves. The cvar g_respawntime says how often players should spawn. - Added a CVAR g_voteBan X - bans a player for X minutes using the KK-admin system - Added g_gravityModifier (default 1.0) that modifies g_gravity relatively to the value set by the map. - Additional dmflags. Most notably "Fast weapon switch" and "No self damage". - Added a CVAR g_damageModifier to modify damage of all weapons and triggers. - Added replace_* cvars like disable_*. - Handicap is reset to 100 once returned to the main menu. It is no longer changeable thorugh the GUI to prevent new players from hurting themself. - Added "Click to respawn"-message. Tells the player how long until they are allowed to respawn. Very relevant for wave spawning.
==ENGINE==
- New specular code, r_specmode 1 to enable
- New environment map code, r_envmode 1 to enable
- Cascaded bloom, which is more 'natural', and is much faster on lower end hardware r_bloom_cascade 1 to enable
- Support for GLSL shaders!
- Bloom is not allowed if we don't have 32-bit color for textures. This stops the user from playing with corrupt bloom in 16-bit color since the bloom code doesn't really support that yet.
Vergleichsvideo JPG - AVI? Ich wüsste jetzt nicht, ob die Mühe mit JPG wirklich lohnenswert für ein besseres Ergebnis ist... also am Einfachsten ist auf jeden Fall AVI mit "capture avi...capture stop", wie ich es hier Forum beschrieben hab.

Notes: - Even starting at Timecode 00:00:03 at all three recordings - the video did not match, so did not the audio - Even with following instructions: C (pause) then capture avi - c again for start - same procedure at all 3 recordings - OAmme doesnt seem to allow recordings over 1,11 GB , so he splitted the vids after the limit was hit - Pain in the a** to cut it with Adobe Elements 10 - no fluid workflow at all. even with 8 HB Ram - maybe software issue , cause I couldnt tell the program to increase the RAM usage - Uses about 1,5 GB Ram only while cutting Full HD material
- Probelms importing the aftershock textures - even though tried to copy them from OA folder to oamme folder in every possible variation.
- Export as F4v 4 Mbit/sec = 17 MB for around about more than 20 Seconds

It looks nice in HD . But yes, it is sad that nobody developed it furthermore, because e.g. some textures don't work or we don't know hot to do....
