I can help for server-settings and mappool-autodownload but first we need such a server. xD If you have access to such a server it would be nice!

Sto contattando alcuni player di e+ ; probabilmente la via più semplice è appoggiarsi a loro per il server visto che di fragfest ne fanno diverse ogni anno! Vi tengo aggiornati!

@all: ok mumble! there aren't for ventrilo/mangler because it isn't available in the repo of manjaro linux. you can change the audio program for the event? the mumble server, supports all these players connected to audio? let me know, thank you.

1- you can install mangler in manjaro: go to mangler.org/download/ and there are the arch linux pkgbuild and the source code!!

2- what do you mean about the server and e+?

Per quanto riguarda la fragfest avremo un server idoneo con mod e+ v 2.2 gentilmente offerto da un player di q3 che ha organizzato diversi eventi simili.
Pensavo di inserire varie modalità di gioco; le principali comunque resteranno CTF all weapon, CTF insta e Insta DM.
Proverò a recuperare delle mappe medie (da 14 a 20 player) e grandi (20+ player).

Spero riusciremo a rendere accessibile il server sia dai client openarena che dai client q3 arena.

Non appena saranno definiti i particolari come ip del server, setting etc mi servirà un aiutino per pubblicizzare l'evento nei vari forum e canali.

mi sembrava che neanche sistesse il sito. ora l'ho installato, ma prima della data dell'evento devo testare se tutto è andato a buon fine (presumo di si) con qualcuno di voi in audio.

@dexter: era perchè come mod siamo abituati più in aftershock, però basta che il server non sia in america perchè più che fragfest diventerebbe fuckfest.

Ringrazio dexter che si sta dando da fare e non voglio intromettermi visto che ha già avviato i contatti per acquistare il server, ma mi sto informando cmq di una valida alternativa (spero che è ok per te, scegliere tra i due server o avere entrambi), visto che (come detto da Kraig) forse gli altri vorrano più AS perchè ci sono abituati, ma E+ per me va benissimo lo stesso e poi è un fragfest con molta gente e quindi non ci si capisce niente lo stesso.

Posso farlo io, np. Il modo più semplice sarebbe: prendere l'immagine qui nel mio primo post e metterci le date del server e l'orario.

1.) Yes, I have news: I can have 24 slots for this event if you like! It is the same server as *SoS*PRIVATE (Düsseldorf) but with more slots!
But I see... 50 slots... that is A M A Z I N G ! XD

2.) About maps and config: I will try and search as soon as I have time.

3.) Now I am thinking again about the maps... with all those people it is hard to make AUTODOWNLOAD because a simple dropbox isn't enough for 20 or more people I think...
Anyway: I will do a mappack of all maps we need, so you can download it some days before the event starts

Ok I tried a little E+ on our server, the basic things work, rotation work. Today or on weekend I will setup the complete config, like the plan above, so all will work automatically at fragfest.

@Dexter: Una volta finite le configurazioni e stabilito le mappe, le passo a te? Fa la configurazione lui da solo (basta dire cosa vogliamo) o la devo fare io?
